Selected by the Ugandan government to conduct official cultural exchanges with China, artist Jose SsengendoKampi is on a mission to reveal the beauty and vitality of Africa through his woodcarving art. He has been living in Changsha, central China’s Hunan Province, for the past year where he has drawn much inspiration from the local food, scenic spots and the hospitality of its people. He also aims to tell his amazing stories of life in China to people in Africa.
