A magnitude-4.6 earthquake jolted Dabancheng District in Urumqi, the capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at 4:33 p.m. on Tuesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The quake struck at a depth of 32 kilometers, the CENC said. 

There have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
