An ancient building in north China’s Shanxi Province has become a top attraction among gamers and tourists after being featured in the new hit action game “Black Myth: Wukong.”
Among the game’s many filming locations is the Guangsheng Temple’s Feihong Pagoda in Linfen, Shanxi Province, which has captured the attention of tourists. This ancient pagoda was recognized as the world’s highest colorful glazed pagoda by the World Record Certification Agency in 2018.
The Guangsheng Temple, built in 147 AD, is one of China’s oldest temples. Its striking Feihong Pagoda towers over 47 meters tall, with a unique octagonal design spanning 13 levels. The tower gradually narrows as it rises, giving it an impressive appearance of shooting straight into the sky.
Despite long exposure, the vibrant colors remain bold and elegant. Each of the pagoda’s levels features intricate glazed designs, with motifs ranging from dragons and phoenixes to guardian warriors and mythical creatures.
