In south China’s Guangdong Province, Zhanjiang’s “donut” ocean farm is a cutting-edge aquaculture project featuring nearly 300 donut-shaped deep-sea cages. Each cage, extending 7 to 8 meters underwater, can hold up to 50,000 kg of fish, equivalent to the yield of 13 hectares of land-based ponds. This farm exemplifies China’s commitment to sustainable aquaculture.
