Thirty-five people were killed and another 43 injured after a car rammed into people in a sports center in the city of Zhuhai, south China’s Guangdong Province on Monday, the city’s public security bureau said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 7:48 p.m. on Monday when citizens were exercising at the sports center.
The bureau said the driver, a 62-year-old divorced man surnamed Fan, was brought under control soon after the incident.
